Maria Lamott

Maria Dina Lamott, born in Stuttgart in 1994, lives in Zurich. From Stuttgart she moved to Munich to study architecture, from there to Dublin, and Zurich - where she stayed. Because of her Greek roots, she every year spends time in Athens. In her work she deals with threshold spaces, which she examines with methods of artistic-research and architecture. With text, drawing, frottage and movement she will explore the city of Krems for its specific public threshold spaces, outwards to the surrounding landscape, but also inwards to the residential buildings and squares. The material created is collected and put together in form of a map.
