Civil engineers talk about their work
The nationwide “technology moves” week allows students to take a closer look at technical and planning careers each year in November.
Teachers in Lower Austrian schools can book 100-minute workshops with ORTE for the 8th and 9th grades on the following career areas:
Architecture
Landscape design
Building technology
Traffic planning
The engineers come into your school and talk about important educational aspects of their career and daily work experiences, straight from their heart, and involving children directly.
The “technology moves” initiative was brought to life by the Built Environment Education Association for young people (bink) and is financed by the Chamber of Architects and Engineering Consultants.
Auf jugendgerechte und spannende Weise wird bei diesem Schulprojekt Einblick in planende, technische Berufe geboten. Die Bedeutung der ZiviltechnikerInnen für die Gestaltung unseres Lebensraums wird aufgezeigt. Aufgerufen sind dazu Klassen der 8. und 9. Schulstufe.
